The 24 year old Indian Pankaj Advani is the winner of World youngest Professional Billiards Championship on Sunday at Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds, UK. He became the one of second Indian Billiards Championship winner, after Geet Sethi was the first Indian to win the title in 2006 in its 139th year history. After long time again one Indian became a World Billiards Champion.
Pankaj had a break of 226 while 41 year old, Russell had a 193 in the final. After in the second session Pankaj was made 600 points ahead and Russell had an only 72 break with his ten time visits. Pankaj was continued with the second rounds, he had a 182 and 195 while Rushell had a 267 points opposite Rupesh Shah. Pankaj Advani get 2030 (1070+960) beat and Mike Russell get 1253 (418+835) points on Sunday.
Pankaj has also won the Amateurs world billiards and snooker Championships title. Pankaj took a 652 points per visit and Russell had just five hour final. He is one and only first player ever to have completed a Grand Double in Billiards. Pankaj was also received a Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award in 2005.
