The Infiniti brand name has originated from Nissan motors- a multinational company that is headquartered at Japan. It formerly marketed vehicles under the “Datsun” brand name and is one of the largest car manufacturers. In its home market of Japan Nissan is the third largest car manufacturer, with Honda being second by a small margin and Toyota in a very dominant first.

Along with its normal range of models, Nissan also produces a range of luxury models branded as Infiniti. Infiniti unveiled the 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan at the 60th annual Pebble Beach Concours d’ Elegance on the 14th of August. The Infiniti launch event was the second in a series. During the first, they unveiled the 2011 IPL G Coupe yesterday. And if you know what we mean the car seems seriously seductive.

The car bears a price tag of $30,950 and is expected to go on sale this September. A unique seven-speed automatic transmission of the sedan is mated with a 2.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 engine that is tested to produce 218-hp and 187 lb-ft of torque. The Infiniti G25 Sedan will be offered in both the options of rear wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

The car brings in a host of new features to guarantee more comfort and style to its buyers and these include- 17-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Xenon headlights with High Intensity Discharge (HID), Traction Control System (TCS), and 4-wheel Anti-lock Disc Braking System (ABS). Additionally, the G25 Journey version supports Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control, heated outside mirrors, heated front seats, RearView Monitor, and auto on/off headlights among others.

The 2011 Infiniti G25 Sedan will bring premium audio system with 6 speakers, 4-way power front passenger’s seat along with 8-way power driver’s seat, Shodo aluminum interior trim, XM Satellite Radio, and leather-appointed seating. The car looks absolutely stunning from the outside and would definitely be any car lovers delight. However, how the Infiniti plans to brand it in the developing countries still remains to be seen as the price tag put by the company is actually too high to actually make a market out of the developing countries.
