Recently, Volkswagen has revealed the photos and details of new model, ‘Caddy Van’ which will be sold with four choices of diesel engines such as 75 hp, 102hp, 110 hp or 140hp. The New Commercial Vehicle, Caddy is the smallest model in the range of vans and it will show and arrival in UK Volkswagen Van Centers in November 2010.
The new line of gasoline and diesel engines are equipped with turbocharged direct injection gasoline which carries 55 kW / 75 PS, 75 kW / 102 PS, 81 kW / 110 PS and 103 kW / 140 PS respectively. The new Volkswagen Caddy Van is equipped with the BlueMotion Technology (75 kW / 102 PS) with average consumption: 4.9 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres. Two turbocharged direct injection TSI 1.2-liter petrol engines crank out 86 and 105 PS (63 and 77 kW). The 102-PS unit spews out 154 grams of CO2 per km.
Volkswagen Caddy Van will be available in several models, including the panel and kombi versions of the Caddy, the Startline, Trendline and Comfortline versions for a more comfortable Caddy, and the Tramper camper van. The new caddy will be a first civic smoothness vehicle and compress van in this class to be versed as usual with ESP on all models.
For the first tome the second row of seats is totally removable on all models. The new candy can also be prepared as an option with a bench-style third seating row in the Maxi Trendline and Comfortline and as such can seat up to seven people. Features of Sportline are color-coded bumpers, exterior mirrors and door handles, lower front spoiler with integrated front fog lamps, rear spoiler, bespoke alloy wheels, plus a chrome grille and side rails, and leather upholstery.
The new caddy panel van will be available at the price tag of 13,595 euros and Startline will be available at 14,205 euros. Volkswagen new caddy van features new daytime running lights, adaptive cornering lights, roof rack and the newly designed RNS 315 radio/navigation system.
