RIM (Research in Motion) has proclaimed that the two new BlackBerry smartphones will be released in the May month, one is candy bar shaped BlackBerry Bold 9650 and other is Pearl 3G. Release date of these two new handsets is unclear now. The iPhone and Android are the main rivals for these two handsets. A 3.2 megapixel camera, a microSD card slot and full connectivity package including Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth are the common specifications, which are available in both phones.
Both CDMA and EV-DO frequencies are supported by BlackBerry Bold 9650. BlackBerry Bold 9650 utilizes HSPA and UMTS networks too. BlackBerry Bold 9650 device comes with GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, featuring a 65k colors, 2.44 inch display with a resolution of 480 x 360 pixels.
In the near future, the BlackBerry Pearl 3G can be a run top deal. BlackBerry Pearl 3G has a 3G feature first time, a 360 x 400 display and the same 3.15 MP camera as the Bold 9650 and half its memory. BlackBerry Pearl 3G comes with a 624MHz processor and the Pearl 3G features an improved Wi-Fi connection (802.11b/g/n). The phone will accessible with a SureType keypad as well as with the old T9 keypad. More than three-quarters of the people in the global mobile phone market are still buying handsets with a traditional alphanumeric keypad so that alphanumeric keypad version is available.
