Mercedes Benz is one of the biggest and most famous car-makers, which has recently launched its new C200 CGI luxury sedan. The new C200 CGI offers a large number of features and specification to its customers.
The new C200 sedan comes with the new CGI engine in India. The Mercedes Benz’s new C200 CGI is direct injection (CGI) petrol motor. This is a new technology in Indian market to use refined petrol direct-Injection engine with spray guided. The new Mercedes Benz C200 CGI gives best mileage figure of 11.74 kmpl as per the ARAI figures and generates 178 to 186bhp of max power and 285Nm at 2400-4000rpm and has a 1796cc petrol engine.
Mecedes Benz C200 CGI is geared with 4 in line KOMPRESSOR technology. It comes with various features like turbocharging, peak power of 183bhp from a 1.8L, a high-ish 100bhp/litre and more. The new Mercedes C200 CGI engines can run with high surplus air which offers best fuel efficiency. Mercedes Benz C200’s engines contain nozzles which open outwards and creates hollow cone shaped spray pattern.
It delivers 135kW/270Nm compared to the Kompressor’s 135kW/250Nm. The CGI motor is a real lean burn engine which needs very small amount of fuel to run when not under high loads. The economy has improved from 8.0l/100km to 7.3l/100km and emissions have decreased from 189g/km to 171g/km. There are some extra best features are also added in C200 CGI like Avantgarde-style grille, new 17-inch alloys, split-fold rear seats, new alloys and front cupholders and more.
The new C200 CGI and C250 share their turbocharged engines but the C250 has higher start of tune at 150kW/310Nm. The C200 CGI has a 1796cc petrol engine. Well, the price of new Mercedes Benz C200 CGI is of Rs 28.44 lakh in Mumbai showrooms, Rs. 28,98,000 in Delhi showrooms and Rs 29,23,000 in Bangalore. The new Mercedes Benz C200 CGI competes with BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 and other big budget cars.
