The Motorola Droid phone will be obtainable on the Verizon network. Motorola Droid redefines the smart phone becoming the debut with the much talked about Google Android 2.0 OS. A little time has been already spent by BGR with the phone and the review would be offered by them soon.
Motorola Droid Review:
On a mobile device Motorola Droid, you will experience a PC-like browsing experience with a massive high-resolution display, twice the speed of the leading competitor and the thinnest horizontally-oriented QWERTY keyboard slider. Motorola Droid has a slim design however it is slightly thicker than the iPhone 3GS.
According to BGR the Droid phone is
- It is the fastest Android device. (It’s running a TI OMAP3430 processor)
- It is thin. Just slightly thicker than an iPhone 3GS and the thinnest QWERTY-slider.
- Running Android 2.0. Duh.
- The feel of the device is very reminiscent of the OQO 02 model computer. Just smaller, it’s metal with a non-spring-assisted slide, very sturdy, and half soft-touch plastic.
- Overwhelming capacitive and huge display. Easily the best screen on an Android handset and wonderful screen overall.
- The QWERTY keyboard is actually pretty usable and has a soft-touch rubberized finish.
- Google had a direct hand in the Motorola Droid. Something to the point of almost dictating every move Motorola made when designing and making the phone interesting.
- Desktop cradle/charger will ship with the Motorola Droid that has been playing around with. It turns your Droid into a “multimedia station” and displays local weather, the time, etc.
- It makes the CLIQ looks like a child’s toy (partly because it is, and partly because the Droid, even in its non-final form, is the most impressive phone).
The Motorola Droid does everything that the iPhone can do and much more. Google has merely taken that idea and teamed with Motorola to expand the Droid. It looks attractive and they just need to get rid of that ugly branding. This phone is supposed to be a “Google Experience” phone and that means Verizon can not add any restrictions to the software. There is a 95% chance that to use your GPS with any software that you would like.
