This amount became 3.6 million in 2007. Merlin Entertainments Group is owner of this park. Now, it has 32 rides including 7 water rides and six roller coasters. Magic Mountain, Blue Tornado, Sequoia Adventure, Fuga da Atlantide, Orto Bruco and Mammut are the alternative names of the coasters. The swiss company B&M will introduce new coaster named as X-Raptor in 2011.
Futurescope in Poitiers, France
Futuroscope or Parc du Futuroscope is amusement park of the France that is well built with high technology like audio-visual techniques, cinematographic futorscope, etc. The park has eight full-service restaurants and eight shops and it is spread on over 130 acre land. It has many places and shows that attract the people to visit there such as 3D cinemas, 4D cinemas, etc. 1.7 million people had visited at this park in 2009. 35 million people have visited since it first time opened in 1987. It contains 26 rides including 7 roller coasters and 6 water rides.
Universal Orlando Resort
Universal Orlando Resort is the second largest amusement park resort in Greater Orlando opened on 7th June, 1990. It is joint venture of Blackstone Group and NBC Universal. It has two theme parks: Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida with 40 amazing and amusing rides, shows and attractions. Almost the parks are open at 9 am, but in the season time like summer and winter holiday they are open between 7 – 10 pm. Every year it presents US’s one of the largest Halloween events, Halloween Horror Nights. It also includes three official on-site hotels, Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel, and Loews Royal Pacific Hotel.
